Week 9
Our final week. I am so proud of how far the
children have come this term. They are a
neat bunch of kids and have all settled into school really nicely. I hope they
have enjoyed their first term at St Mary’s School. I wish them all the best for Year 1 next
year.
This week is going
to be fairly busy. Mr Macmillan would
like to remind everyone that school magazines are able to be purchased for
$5. There are a limited number of these
printed each year, so once they are sold, that’s it.
Swimming Although it is not our swimming week, bring
your togs in case the sprinklers are on during lunchtime. We will
have the sprinklers on after lunch on Wednesday to cool off after our
athletics. The children will need their
togs on Thursday for the tryathlon.
The week ahead:

hard choice to just choose only three students.

Concert - all welcome. All classes
will be singing a Christmas song. Room 9
and 10 will be singing He Has a Red Red Coat and Santa Got Stuck Up the Chimney. If your child has a Santa Hat they are welcome
to bring it along. Don’t worry if they
don’t 😊.

otherwise please bring shorts and a t-shirt.
Please put sunblock on your child before school and it would be a good
idea to bring a rash shirt if you have one, for our fun with the sprinklers in the
afternoon.
End of year shared Christmas lunch - Wednesday Can each child please send a small plate of food to share for this.
Thursday

their tryathlon in the middle block).
Junior children will swim 1 width of pool, scooter or cycle 1 lap of astroturf and run
once around the field. Children will
need to bring their own scooter or bike.
Once again please put
sunblock on your child before school and it would be a good idea to bring a rash
shirt if you have one.
